I need to have a couple of spuds ready for about 20:30 this evening and was planning on putting them in the oven now. Any recommendations to the temperature and any tips on making them crispy? I've also thought about putting a couple of garlic cloves in with them for the smell factor

skewer through the middle, about 190 for 45 mins to an hour.

seriously you should google this sort of stuff.

Olive oil (garlic or chilli for extra flavour)& salt rubbed on the skin.
