Need a great Restaurant in Southport

I've booked the Vincent hotel for this Friday night and need a recomendation of a truly (10th wedding anniversary) great restaurant in Southport please?

I've been recomended the Warehouse, but it looks a little too casual for this special occassion. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hope it's not too late for you.

The Warehouse is great, very nice inside, good service, top food and easily the best restaurant in Southport. If you can't get a table there, try the Auberge. Failing that, there's the Swan chippy!
