The Met Office promised us a BBQ summer....

I called "Good Summer" back in March (read it in my tea leaves) and Im confident as ever.

We've had quite a few good weekends up in Aberdeen this year, think i've had the barbeque on 5 or 6 times already! smile

I think the thunderstorms this afternoon put a damper on things quite literally.

Lower than average temps according the forecaster yesterday.

Was at a great BBQ last night!

Best bacon butties I've ever had :-) Oh but the entertainment was first class :-)

I've had BBQs the last two weekends. The weather wasn't as good today but not bad enough to put me off.

Had a bbq yesterday with 30 people, even though it was torrential rain all day. We put it in the entrance to the big garage and everyone stayed inside smile

Random strangers came in off the street and we sold them our leftover meat..for a donation of course smile

The road flooded and the wash came up a metre or two away from the BBQ, thought my car was going to float away, the police came and unblocked a drain...
