Anyone eaten here, looking to take Mrs Cloth out for lunch next week and stumbled across this but never heard of it before - seemingly it was another Heston job but not sure if he is still involved in it now. So anyone been and should I go?

Really good in the sunshine - selling point is definitely location. Food is certainly good and well worth visiting.

They have a great wine list too if you can get there without driving.....

Try posting this in the Thames Valley forum - probably get more response from a local thread about a specific local restaurant... wink

sorry, i think it's gon right down hill

eaten there a few times over the last 3-4 years and rated it

previous to last time was ok, thought it was just an off night

went back, wish i hadn't....

service has gone and the south african chef has gone to set
up his own place

foie gras was off the menu for ethical reasons tsk

i wish it could return to the way it was about 3 years ago....
3 or 4 of the best meals out i'd had

shame

and that is there old menu, which (and i stand to be corrected) they don't do anymore
