Just out of curiosity, I bought one of these and have it rehydrating in front of me now.

Doesn't smell too good.

Erm, doesn't taste that great either but spicy enough to make it interesting.

Maybe it needs a few beers like a proper kebab.

I can't see the appeal of convenience convenience food! It's not going to get close to a Bombay badboy!

I was very keen on trying one when I first saw the adverts but was a bit disappointed after tasting it.

What fool moved a thread about pot noodle to the 'food' section?

Would it be wrong to admit to actually quite liking these?

Yes.
True, however while the old adage about 'not wanting to go out for a burger when there's steak at home' applies, there are times when only a filthy kebab will do.

(I'm ashamed to say.)

I am absolutely gutted. I'm in Australia and Pot Noodles are only available from specialist 'pommie food' shops, along with such treats as Monster Munch. None of these have Doner Kebab Pot Noodles, despite my requests. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I get to try one, but the wait is killing me. Friends back home have been barracked to send me some, but alas, it doesn't appear to be a priority of any of them.

Oh, and also, here a Pot Noodle costs $6. Which is about 3 quid.

Looks like I'll be sticking to the occasional treat of Beef & Tomate and Bombay Bad Boy for the foreseeable...

It would probably work out about £3 to get a singular one sent over to you. wink

A lot more than that actually, they're only that cheap because they come over in bulk.

As you can see by my post - money is not the issue here - remaining a Doner Kebab Pot Noodle virgin is. Maybe it's time to come home...

hehe Expensive way of sampling what is probably something quite nasty.

I will grab one at the weekend and give it a decent review for you.

Oh I agree. A dirty kebab is one thing, a 'kebab' pot noodle is quite, quite different.

Well they would, wouldn't they?
