Poll:
What is the most important factor when selecting a pizza shop for a delivery/takeaway pizza?

Discussion:
(Assuming you're sober) what drives your buying decisions when ordering a pizza for delivery/takeaway?

What do you really like about your favourite pizza shop's products/offer?

What puts you off using other pizza shops?

I've put quality as that's the most important but perhaps the poll would work better if you could choose the top three or something?

The reason being that for me, a combination of quality, size and cost are the three most important contributing factor and I would base a decision on a combination of the three...

Thanks Gylen. I did consider creating a multi-option poll; we all, of course, use multiple factors when making any decision, but I really want to force people to identify their prime driver.

can we have an overall quality option please? you can still make a poor pizza out of good ingredients

ETA: thought I may explain myself a bit

quality every time - must be thin crust, so thin it just holds the ingedients together and the toppings have to be fresh

As it is not a regular thing for me ,I tend to look at the offers available and use a known brand to try and ensure some sort of quality of offering.

I don't think you can judge quality of toppings etc unless you are a relatively frequent user ,hence taking the safe but less adventurous route .

Ii think price initialy, but to get repeat custom its all about quality and price becomes near the bottom of the list.

Special offers get it for me. I like a number of the local Pizza delivery places but whichever has the best deal gets the order. I cannot justify paying their full prices! £12.99 for a pizza?!

On an aside, if there is no offer I will go with Dominos because I really can't get enough of their garlic bread.. I would rate garlic bread quality as the second most important. I have ordered a whole pizza of garlic bread from Dominos before....mmmmmmm....

It is food, and pizza is a pretty cheap meal, so quality first 'for sure'.

Quality of the pizza and toppings is the most important for me, closely followed by speed of delivery.

Recently waited over an hour for a pizza which arrived in a sodden box, cold and soggy pizza is not the way forward. No matter how much you have smokin
