I've had some utterly mediocre ones and some superb ones - rarely anything in between laugh

Never made it and quite fancy trying it. What are your recipes?

There's a cheaty one using Tia Maria and Baileys. I can't exactly remember the details, but I can't imagine going terrebly far wrong with soaking a layer of sponge fingers in Tia Maria, then a couple of layers soaked in Baileys, then topping off with whipped cream, sweetened a flavoured with coffee/more Tia Maria.

Authenticity might not be strong, but you can russle it up in about 10 mins from cupboard ingredients + cream.

I basically nicked Gordon Ramsay's recipe and 'adapted it'. By adapted I mean, made more of it and threw in a tablespoon of kahlua too.

The wife makes the best Tiramisu I have ever eaten. It is utterly wonderful.

I will ask her for the recipe tonight and post it up at some point. It really is that good.

My missus made a 'tiramisu' with rhubarb the other day. It was top notch.
