Anyone mind if i created a Facebook recipies group?

using those pictures and recipes on the Photo of my dinner thread?

Thought I would ask and see if anyone minds me using them and including the recipes and placing a linky here for everyone to join as a quick reference guide to food.

That way I can include all my friends not on PH and people can join on facebook that want to?

Would a set of PH Wikis not do the job better? I would mean anyone on PH could contribute and anyone in the world could read them!

I'm happy to create the main page and a template if people think it would be a go-er.

that would also be an idea too, just most of my mates are not on here and on facebook so thought i would do that first and talk to you about a wiki second and since they created on here and photos are the other phers property i though i would ask fist just in case.

just to get over anthing like copyright issues of doing and not telling people.

btw: I was going to create a giant wiki with every recipe (plus pics if they're there) on FD&R.

if its going to get done, well, less work for me

Whats everyones fixation with getting people on here?

I have 200+ friends on Facebook and not all of them as PH minded, I would like to share the recipes with them and everyone else as well as do it on here...

Im not trying to steal PHs thunder, there is just a wider audience out there.

A lot of those meals do not have recipes just bassic list of ingredients or Roast Chicket etc

I don't do facebook. Anyone can see them on Pistonheads but you have to sign up to facebook and create a profile that you can not delete.

Yep I get that, but my friends dont want to look at pistonheads (they aint interested) as they think its just car stuff, even when I tell them about the recipes and pictures, they just call it stupid talking to people with no life stuff.

So I thought I would put it on Facebook for them and was asking permission to use the photos.

I wasnt saying to the people of PH, Im creating a facebook group, come join me... this was just for me, my friends and anyone who is on facebook that wanted a pretty list of recipes.

Dont even start that one.... I use Facebook as a place to store piccys and and to stay in contact with close friends, as they seem to be on there more than MSN/Skype. So its like all in one, otherwise I would use flickr and something else.... but that is beside the point.

Its easy for me to create a group and then add a pic and adescription to it and then get my friends to do the same and then before I know it I will have a few dozen recipes with piccies, rather than just me cooking it and then taking a pic and storing it on here and in face book cause there is only so much fancy cooking a can do all by myself.

A wiki on here would be good too.
