18th Bday in Pub???

Im planning on going out for my 18th bday to a pub somewhere in Edinburgh. I was originaly think of Hamiltons bar, but would like to hear other opinions.

Grass market, cowgate, george street, rose street for the rose street challenge (get from one end to the other with a pint in each hostelry) or the pubic triangle. Any pub within these areas will be perfect for what you are after. Just remember and take real ID as its student summer holidays and the festival starts soon so the bouncers can be choosey.
P.s Wear shoes, trousers and something with a collar not jeans and trainers and t shirt.

Thanks, why not trainers and jeans? Have I to look old or something?
