Rubbish sausages from M&S
Discussion
The last few months I have been buying sausages from from various local butchers and have been mightily impressed.
Today fancied a sausage butty and obviously most butchers were shut so decided on M&S. Picked up a pack of 6 for £3 (so not cheapo range by any means)
I have to say they're absolute rubbish. Watery and tasteless, with a rubbery skin. If you try and cook them longer they just go dry and crumbly.
Has anyone found decent supermarket sausages? Seem to recall some brand called Black Sheep mentioned and Duchy has been recommended as well.

Edwards of Conwy make some nice sausages.
You can get them from the butcher's counter in the place advertised by a mockney TV chef.

That's where we go for our sausages. Local Asda started stocking them for a while - seem to have stopped now.http://www.muffsonline.co.uk/sausages.htm
We get our Turkey from them at Christmas too.
Awesome.
