Hi
My brother in laws family have decided to have a meet up over the August bank holiday and want somewhere nice (posh)to eat that you can take children to on or around the A16 on the way down to Skegness? Any reccomendations?

Try the Red Lion at Partney. Best pub food ever, and not a claim I make lightly. Might be best to book, particularly if you're meeting in the evening.

Sorry to bring this thread back but I've only just found it frown

Don't know about the one in Louth but The Red Lion at Partney is quite good.

But the best place to eat in the area (or close to) the OP mentioned is The Half Moon at Alford.

Much better than 'pub grub' at less than 'pub grub' prices - makes the Red Lion seem like McDonald. They also serve real beer drunk
Close enough for Cadwell Park as well!

While back I sold a car to a guy from Scotland and recommended The Half Moon - he said it was the best place he had stayed in and the food was some of the best he had ever eaten.

So if you come to Skegness Cadwell, and you should do it is a great circuit, give it a try.
