When in China, I'm quite partial to duck's tongues! Unlike the two people on Supersize Eaters, I actually think they're quite nice, but perhaps thats down to how they're prepared?

We're going to a friends BBQ on Saturday where they've asked us to bring some food - Given the local CHinese supermarket has duck's tongue, I thought I'd take some of them.

I've never tried cooking them myself and presume they'd do quite quickly, but in China they always seem to bein a sauce of some kind, perhaps marinated before cooking.

Any ideas on how I should go about it?

Are these really worth barbecuing? I would have thought they were more of a 'nibble' myself.

I can't say I have tried them, but the rest of the duck roasted to crispy perfection still sounds better to me!

The taste is the not issue, it's the thought that it should be in the duck's mouth and not yours. Tried them once and that's enough for me.
