Elachi, my local Bangladeshi restaurant. It is superb. Usually I have Gosht e Lazeez and Nawab Bangla.

Anyone else on the curry tonight?

Didn't see this yesterday, but we were on the curry and cobras last night.
Tried my first duck dish at an Indian.. liked the idea - but the restaurant seriously overcooked it.
How was yours?

Hi, it was actually very good but then it always is. I went with some neighbours who, let's just say, are in no way curry afficionados! One went for a creamy mild mango chicken whilst the other had a vegetable biryani. The former; Indian baby food at best!

I also had a brinjal bhaji with egg pilau rice and a vegetable paratha. We skipped starters and only managed half the mains due to having two and a bit popadums each.

Can anyone really handle a pickle tray, starters, mains, sides and breads as I certainly can't!

The problem is that what ever you answer to the bloomin annoying Pappadam question is you will end up with some...
most expensive way to eat paper thin fried bread with often guey prefab pickle...yuck
I usually say no pappdams, mommadams or babydams which at least stops them bringing some anyway but a lot of waiters think you are a bit odd...whistle
