I've got 3 half cases of good vintage Port (1994 Dow amongst others) stored at home - properly, cool dark area, lying down etc.

My question is, is there a market for this if I did want to sell at some point, or does only professionally stored wine have a market?

Its trading for £380 case at the moment so I guess you'd get £330/340 from the trade for it.

Thanks - so the trade would be interested, yes?

Any idea how much 2 bottles of Kopke 1970 would be worth?

I haven't stored it very well, TBH, and I'm worried about opening it as I'm sure it will have gone off.

I would think so yes. Ring a few big merchants like Farr Vintners, Bordeaux Index, Wilkinson vintners..

Not a lot I'm afraid - its a small producer.
Drink it mate - should be fine. Make sure you stand up for a day at least and decant as there will be a lot of sediment.

Unfortunately they've been stored upright for a very long time as the corks were weeping. I think they are almost certainly ruined. frown
