I've just been tempted by these, staring seductively at me from the shelf while doing the weekly shop.

Maybe I should have guessed from the fact that they were some nice looking olives, with a fairly vicious looking red chilli poking out of each one, that they might be a bit hot, but they looked so good.

Jesus tittyfkingchrist they are brutal! I've been pulling the chillies out of the olives and it's still like easing lava straight out of the top of Mount Etna. However, I can't stop eating them, albeit with a fairly long break between them and a lot of Californian merlot between mouthfuls hehe

So, anyone else tried these?

I will have a look for these when next in there, sounds good.

When you say "the shelf", do you mean that they are in a jar or are they fresh in the olive bar area?

They're in the deli section with the pre-packaged tapas and anti-pasti.

The olives with manchego cheese are also good - the olives are really salty, which works well with the creaminess of the cheese.

I too saw them, and ended up with hiccups for 10 mins as they were nice and hot smile

Go down the fish aisle and try the anchovies with manchego cheese too - another very nice intense taste to ease the liquids down.
