OK random question time but.. I just decided to order a pizza for the first time from the "local" pizza place in town vs. the local Dominos.

Lady on the phone sounded Italian so off to a better start than "Wayne".

However, does every Pizza shop have a different name for their pizzas? A Full House at Domino is apparently a "Supreme" at this place - basically I have no fking idea what's going to be delivered as I didn't really want to go item by item through what will be on the pizza as I'd feel a bit stupid.

Would I have been stupid to ask or is that "the norm"?

Order a curry and a Chicken Korma is, more or less, a Chicken Korma everywhere..

Well, a Chicken Korma is Chicken, yes? In a Korma sauce? There's little room for interpretation.

A Full House is... a house with a lot of people in it?

Why would you feel stupid asking what toppings are on a pizza?

^^^ This would appear to be the sane approach.

Or, you could have said "Could I please have a medium, thin pan, pizza with cheese, tomato, peanuts, raisins, and hundreds'n'thousands" (or whatever). Why have you made it twenty questions?

I should have asked, for some reason it just seemed a stupid thing to do.

Yet here I am posting about it on an internet forum.

Hmm I think I know which would have been quicker but there you go.

I don't order any food from anywhere that I haven't seen a menu for and or had at least one glowing recommendation for.

I know I know, I usually get Dominos, which in comparison to that filth Pizza Hut sold me is a gourmet meal!

local kebab house owns the chicken burger bar, both very nice stuff, pair of fish/chip shops owned by different people, pair of chinese restuiratnsst, take awqay and sit in pair of curry houses

so far all pretty good, not tried the pizzas yet, guess that is next on the list
