I'm looking for a nice restaurant to book for lunch on Sat 17th Oct. Needs to be within say, an hour of Debry, tried to book Baslow hall but they have a wedding on that date.

Sat bains, we've done loads, ditto Hambleton.

Can anyone recommend somewhere decent? Doesn't have to be michelin starred, as long as the food's good and there's a reasonable wine list.

Cheers in advance

Try the Bay Tree in Melbourne, about 20 mins north of Derby - if it's still there.

Forgot about them, yep they used to be good. Further afield you could look at Aitch's in Bakewell.
