Anyone here tried Brewdog's Tokyo (18.2% Beer)?

I purchased some bottles as soon as there was a bit of media hype but have never opened any.
(Limited batch of 3000 bottles and media hype made me wonder if they'd be worth something in the future)

However I am thinking I might try one this weekend.

The online reviews I've seen are mixed to say the least, (From "Best beer tasted" to "Put it down the sink")

So thought I'd ask PH

Golly. Chilled definitely, that sounds like it could be horribly "sticky" if you know what I mean.

It would be fun to give the kids a shandy though.

The strongest beer I have had is Kasteel (not the version Cru that they sell here)from Belgium, which was 11%. I actually didn't mind it.

Well, I'm in no hurry to open another bottle, but it wasn't that bad.

Quite a pleasant treacle/coffee tasting drink that I sipped away at for a couple of hours.
