What kind of apple have I just had?

We get free fruit at work and I had just had the most amazing apple!
It was red at the top but changes down to bright green (like a Granny Smith) at the bottom. A bit sweeter than a Granny Smith, still quite tart but with a really strong "apple" flavour (like a Cox's Orange Pippin) too.
