New cooker recommendations please
Discussion
Our 15 year old Zanussi dual fuel is about on its last legs, so went out on search for a replacement today.
Quite fancy a nice stainless one for a change.
Had a look in all the local big sheds, and came away not only empty handed, but very very disappointed with their ranges of overpriced tinny chinese shyte.
I looked at a Belling and a Zanussi, both in the £500ish bracket, and I have to say, I was pretty appalled at the shoddy and cheap build quality.
No way is either of these going to last the next 15 years.
So, I ask the people of ph to recommend me a cooker that is of good breeding and likely to last, and also not break the bank.
Further complicated by my desire to have a gas hob with a electric fan oven.
Seperates are allowed to be put forward as well.
TIA

Not heard good things about Stoves, although its obviously hearsay.Didnt think New World was a brand worth considering TBH.My main point is that the all the cookers I looked at today were IMO expensive given the quality.Happy to spend a bit more to get something thats going to last.
