'Pick-Me-Up' Food to make you feel good!
Discussion
You're hungry, it's Sunday night, there's sod all on the TV and you need an early night. The back-to-work blues are creeping in and food is the route to a little comfort.
What do you make/order?
I would make:
Crispy, salty, lemony, sticky chicken wings to pull off the bone and put the meat between buttered, soft white submarine rolls.
A large tray of gloriously crisp roast potatoes with a sweet, spicy dip.
Tempura squid and king prawns
Some belly pork, soft, melting, crisp crackling, salty
God I love food. In reality I am having nothing to eat tonight. I had a large dinner last night and then a filling lunch today so had better not if I don't want to put the 5ibs I lost last week back on.
I can dream though!

Indulge. Get an Indian take away. My local does enough for two for less than 15 quid, delivered. Oh and find something on the radio, you can get to chat without all that visual tosh interrupting, and go to bed early. Sod the TV. hth
eta, That way you have a great finish to the weeked. oh, and just do more exercise tomorrow 'cos mondays are always cr4p!

A Saturday evening pick me up treat would be something like a curry from my favourite local. Lamb tikka Syhletey, Keema Rice and a Sag Panner, with a Keema naan.
My Sunday morning (12pm) hangover cure is usually a walk to Burger King for an XL bacon double cheeseburger and a large milkshake. That combo truly hits the spot after a heavy night on the beer/vin rouge.
