My god maniacally reclaimed meat is vile. I'm never going to buy a chicken kiev ever again.

There are so many products which use mrm.

ETA, I was aware of the presence of mechanically reclaimed meat before, but the bit where they just crush the bones and what can only be described as slop comes out the bottom is truly rancid.

Look beyond the process and mark it on the taste.
I love hotdogs, kievs and pork pies, but I'd never eat them if I got hung up on the processes by which they are made.

I think there was a thread, as I remember commenting that I was quite glad that I cannot remember when I last ate a supermarket kiev!

A good reason to learn to cook!
