Is it me or has Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce lost its taste and spicyness, maybe not its taste so much but certainly its spicyness over the years?
I have used it since i first started cooking as well as on chips, i can remember it being a lot more spicyer, it used to burn my mouth when i had it on chips. I can put loads on now with no effect. I used to love the stuff but now it seems to have lost it all for me.
Does anyone else think the same?

Squeezing profit margins by watering them down over a period of time. Most of them get away with it by and large.

Just noted this in latest bottle. IF they are 'watering' it down, as said, wouldn't surprise anyone today, but probably less molasses or something.
Still not on without informing customers.

It's that bad, if you didn't realise you could inadvertently empty the bottle if you weren't concentrating.

Dear Lea & Perrin
I was about to 'sprinkle' a covering of L&P over 30 rounds of cheese on toast (lot of friends round!) and the whole contents just spilled out over the first two rounds as if it were a bottle of water.
Naturally this ruined our evening. (compensation?)

Have you changed the ingredients without informing customers?

Please can you let me know, by return, before I wing my concern to the Sun newspaper.
Many thanks.

PS
A 48 bottle case of L&P could prevent my letter to the Sun.biggrin
