How about a bit of sophistication? Cheese and crackers?
Or not... super noodles?

Casserole, make it in the evening, warm it though in the morning and use a wide mouth flask, this would also work with curry, chilli, ragu, etc etc eat with some French bread, job done

I always find things like casserole, though, taste like warmed up dinner from the night before. Nice, but it's not got longevity.

Anything containing mince in a sauce is usually even more epic the day after, even when heated in a microwave.

Used to work with an Indian chap who's wife would make up fresh stuff every day/night shift for him.

The best were these little pancakes with lots of onion and carrot and stuff in - and the chilli yoghurt dip that went with it was ace lick

Did you rob your colleague of his lunch every day?! Or just steal his wife...?

Do you have a microwave oven that you're able to use at your work? If so then the previous night's leftovers re-heated used to be fine. Most times though, I had a cooked breakfast and that lasted me through the day till I had the evening meal.
If no microwave, how about a camping stove?

or out in the car park biggrin
I've used one at work before, before microwaves were easily affordable and in the kitchen area. Slightly different work though, off licence open 12 hours a day, no breaks...and only me there.
