Good day,

In my infinite wisdom, two days ago I bought three kilos of fresh mince without checking freezer space before. Unfortunately, there was no space in the freezer and the mince was cheap as it was about to go out of date. I plan to cook it over the next couple of days in different recipes. I'm currently cooking a bolognese and going to cook a chili using one kilo of it.

I'm lacking inspiration other than burgers which I don't particularly like - any ideas?

Thanks,

HH

Make a nice broth/stew with the mince with lots of diced seasonal veg and onions and serve it in a nice big homemade Yorkshire pudding! mmmm

How could I forget that!! Perfect!

That will get rid of another kilo. One more recipe? Don't really fancy lasagne or meatballs.

Make up a nice spicy Taco mix, suitable for freezing and make for a scrummy midweek dinner.

Sounds good, got any particular recipes?

Grover - that cabbage ring looks absolutely foul.

Call me olde-fashion'd, but moussaka ought to be lamb really.
