Not being of the religious persuasion I've only just found out it is Shrove Tuesday tomorrow. So, no time to make up a batch of my favourite savoury filling - Chilli, but lemon and sugar is just too uninspiring.

What are folks' suggestions?

Mrs Saleen works part time in the pancake house at Longleat Centre Parcs, I looked at the menu and was surprised at some of the pancake fillings! lucky for me I get to go there and eat them cheap biggrin

peanut butter with condense milk on mine please



i absolutely love pan cakes, my mum makes some damn good ones

but darn it! i still havent learn to make them myself...

Sliced apples sauteed in a small amount of butter, copious amounts of maple syrup and a sprinkling of pecan nuts to add crunch.

Either the classic lemon and sugar or condensed milk

Not really a fan of chocolate, strawberries or bananas on pancakes - simple is best
