Anyone else watching this series?

I reckon that fella with the dodgy patchy beard and freakishly pencil-like neck who was on yesterday could well win it...

And, whilst on the subject, anyone else think the format of two episodes for two days and one on a friday is a pain in the ass? I keep forgetting what time it starts

irked

I am watching it, mostly recorded HTH, though watched last nights episode, they were gushing over him, there has also been the paediatrician that won on a Friday a few weeks back, all that time spent learning a profession that is more of a vocation but he wants to own and run his own bistro ....... I wish him luck smile he certainly was dedicated cannot remember his name

with the second lot on, seems like the best idea is to go for a pudding instead of a main course. ( as long as you don't mistake salt for sugar wink )

Yes, nothing stays the bloody same these day. I keep missing Ice Road Truckers for the same reason.

Thursday = Top of the Pops. Was that so hard? Bah.

They've dropped the 'food recognition' round but retained the mypoic second cameraman (in the waiting area) who focuses on the background and not the contestants. Imbecile.

That bald headed chap seems to have the same inane grin on his face most of the time...does the producer cut that in after one of the contestants has spoken....certainly looks like it.

Paedo? Feckin Paedo? Fecks babies does he? How can they let sick fuks like that on Masterchef?

He lernt it over 7 years med school did the sick fukka?

Actually, if you watched properly, they constantly referred to him as a "Childrens Doctor" all the way through, and never once a Paediatrician.

This boiled my piss on two levels. Either the BBC is seriously censoring the legitimate job title of Paediatrician (for fear of vigilanti uprisings). Or a "pseudo-science Doctor" is allowed to present himself as legitimate by using the word "Doctor" in his title, from a paper-mill university.

I suspect the latter - a fecking scumbag alternative med nutter who isn't making enough money "treating kids", and tried his hand at becoming the next Gordon Ramsay.

I would be deeply dissapointed if he was a real Paediatrician and decided to bin all that science, research, and saving childrens lives, merely to work in a steaming kitchen.

Greg Wallace was in the same restaurant as me a few weeks back.

He was without that grin, which left me a little disappointed for some reason.

His girlfriend/wife/mistress is quite attractive though.

"So, Ms Wallace, what initially attracted you to fat ugly annoying multimillionaire Greg?"

Was it a tall slim blonde? Might have been the bird who stalked him on myfacetweetbook and he invited round for a shag.

I like his style.

When his wife threw him out he came back to the house to collect his porn collection. Nothing else, just the porn laugh

That woman who made a cheesecake that didn't set and also had salt in it rather than sugar was rather amusing. It does make you wonder what goes through their minds when they enter, they have to have seen previous competitions to know the standard.

That guy who put an anchovie inside a sardine. Bet he doesn't kiss girls much if he eats things like that.

The guy who was on last night and said he was only interested in very simple food, done at bare minimum cost was a bit odd. Had he never seen masterchef before?

I commented on this before. I suggest that the BBC thought 'paediatrician' was a very complicated word and viewers wouldn't know what it meant, so they dumbed it down. (Thereby ensuring that nobody ever gets to know what a paediatrician is...)
