I stayed in a hotel a few weeks ago and had pancakes for breakfast one day. They came with a lovely thick sweet Maple syrup.
Do you think i can find anything like it in the supermarkets when i came home?

Not a chance.

The only stuff i can find is really runny and nothing like the nectar i had in the hotel frown

Same as me then.

Always nice to fold in some blueberries into the pancake flour mix. Drizzle honey on top before serving. yum

With vanilla ice cream and maple syrup and! Also I like to put some yogurt into batter, taste more moisture.

I am planing to make bill granger's ricotta pancakes durning easter holiday, as it cost £17.50 at restaurant (liverpool street in London) . Does everyone make it before?

A decent soaking of melted butter and lashing of maple syrup. Bacon on the side is optional.
