Although it's on at a silly time (6:30pm) I am rather enjoying this current series. Have to say that some of the food that is being sourced looks sublime and really supports the whole idea behind local/high quality.
The usual disagreements are there between Matthew and Oliver with Pru acting as mediator which is always amusing.
Despite her Max Headroom hairdo, Lisa Allen deserved to win tonight. She's at Northcote, of Nigel Howarth fame.
Tony Singh is a great chef too, always amusing to see a Sikh with a Scottish accent!
Anyone watching?

I've enjoyed it in previous series. Didn't realise it was back on probably due to the poor timeslot.
I actually spent time in the Kitchen of the Hand and Flowers (Tom Kerridge) recently and he mentioned that he had been filming for this. Not sure when his episodes are on though. I must do a write up when I get time.

The lady chef who won had amazing nostrils .. once I started looking at them I just couldn't stop. It was like the mole that Austin Powers sees on that guys face.
Apart from that it was nice to see her win and beat Aidan who was far too full of himself.
Some good produce as well, good spin on the format.
