Theres an unwritten rule in our house.

Whether we have guests or not, the Mrs and I always 'cheers' each other before starting a new drink.

(If we have a bottle of wine open this doesnt mean clinking glasses with each re-fill, that would just be over the top)

The mrs and I do something similar, guests or not. We don't drink much wine actually, she'll be on cognac or armagnac and I'll be having a dram. Each refill gets another toast
