Ice cream

So the sun has finally decided to shine.

Time to scoff some ice cream.

Lacking the sophistication of the 'ice cream recipes' thread, this is simply to discover your favourite flavour.

At last weekend's 'Dad's Day Out', one ice cream van had rhubarb ripple. Really wish I'd tried it because it sounds awesome.

So are you a dairy or a sorbet person? What's your yummiest flavour?

There is a small ice cream place locally that makes its own ice cream and they do an amazing strawberry & cream and a honeycomb one too,

Bradwells Raspberry ripple, it helps that my dad lives 5 mins from the factory and gets huge boxes of the stuff chea.

The problem is finding a decent one. Haagen Dazs is the best I have found in this country. That new Carte Dor stuff is unpleasant.

At the moment I am on a Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough kick, but my favourite will always be Vanilla.

500g double cream
150g sugar
300g fruit (250 blended, 50 chopped)
3 egg yolks
