We bought some yesterday from the local farmers market. Never had them before (new to the area), so was hoping people would have suggestions on what to serve them with/do with them. At the moment we are planning on just having them as they are with some salad, but all suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I like to heat mine through on the BBQ to avoid the smell in the house.

Just wrap in tinfoil.

As for eating them, I like them on their own with toast.

Lefty beat me too it - but he is right. Lennox Street heading out of Port Ellen will provide the answer - and it very picturesque to boot.

Save the salad and give it to your pet rabbit though.

I am just up the road from Arbroath, I usually heat them under the grill with a little butter and a poached egg on the side, maybe some bread and butter.
