There is an outstanding Indian takeaway locally and they have included in their new menu a 'Value meal offer for two'. Well it would be rude not to, especially as they only charge £14.50 for the following:

2 starters of your choice, 1 large curry of your choice, 1 large side dish, also of your choice, 1 large pilau, 1 nan, poppadoms sauce and salad!
wobble

Here is what I've just ordered:

1 x sizzle mix - chicken tikka, lamb chop, sheek kebab, onion bhaji
1 x King prawn puree (try it if you like prawns and haven't had it before. It isn't pureed king prawn, the puree is a delicious fried indian bread)
1 x large gosht e lazeez, 'tender pieces of lamb cooked with shallots, fresh ginger and coriander (please specify medium or hot)*
1 x cauliflower bhaji
1 x large pilau
1 x garlic naan
poppadoms and pickle tray

  • I went medium as I need to drive to Birmingham to collect my o/h in the morning and don't want a smelly car journey (as if the other delights won't cause that anyway, so who am I kidding? Parp!!)
After abstaining from a curry for at least 6 weeks i am very much looking forward to this. The ramble can in part be put down to the three bottles of Tsingtao I have just consumed, of which a full crate was bought for £16 today from http://www.taisun.co.uk/ doncaster.

If you are local to the Belle Vue area of Doncaster and would like to try their delights, feel free to peruse their menu at http://www.just-eat.co.uk/restaurants-ruchi-doncas...

P.S. I won't be photographing it!
