Picked up a rack of lamb ribs in the butcher earlier, but have no idea how to cook them!

Any ideas? Preferably in the cooker I'd imagine.. Few hours at a low heat?

Should I paste it?

Rack of lamb?

French trim it, mint, rosemary and honey crust.

Oven at 11 then turn it down to 180, doesn't need long, best cut of meat on the animal.

Oven at 11? How long will it need? An hour?

I had a few hours in my head for some reason..

Pre-heat it at full tilt, as soon as it goes in, turn it down.

You can pan fry it first, couple of minutes a side and then it only needs between 5 and 15 minutes in the oven.

Big difference between 'rack of lamb' and 'lamb ribs'.

If the former, quickly brown in goose fat in a hot pan, roast in a 220 C oven for 10 minutes, then rest in a warm place for 5 minutes before carving.

If the latter (and I've seen these on sale for the first time recently), I'd suggest a rub with ras el hanout, a few hours in the slow cooker on a trivet of onions, garlic, herbs and red wine, then a quick blast on the BBQ to crisp them up.
