Has anyone got any decent recipes for pear jam, jelly, or chutney?

I'm probably going to get a decent crop this year, so could use some new idea to make the best without throwing fruit away.

I've made pear wines before, which is an option, but I'm ideally looking for something different.

Thanks

A pint of perry would be nicer than a pint of chutney...

I have frozen them.
Poach in boiling syrup(sugar and water)for 2 mins, pears should be firm but not soft. Strain and cool but retain syrup. To the syrup add 1/2 teaspoon of ascorbic acid to stop discolouraton and pour over fruit for freezing.

Pear chutney;
If hard cooking pears are being used for this recipe it is advisable to cook them for 30mins in very little water to soften them before adding other ingredients.A good chutney to serve with poultry.

2lb pears, 8 oz onions, 8oz tomatoes (green or red), 4oz dates or seedless raisins, 8oz celery, 1pint vinegar, 1/2tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 ground ginger, 1tsp salt.

Peel core and chop pears, peel and chop onions. Wash and slice tomatoes, stone and chop dates or raisins.Wash dry and chop celery.Place all these ingredients in a pan and add vinegar and spices. Bring to the boil and simmer gently until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add salt and sugar and stir until dissolved.Continue cooking until thick, stirring occasionally.
Put into warm jars and cover.
Found a Pear sauce/ketchup recipe but not sure what that would go with.

Possibly pork? (seeing as pear is a bit like apple)

Raw or as a chunky chutney, pear will go with pork, ham, sausages, chicken, salami, prosciutto, or any kind of cheese. Pears and blue cheese being the classic combination.
