Brewing your own booze - want to try, where to start?
Discussion
Hi all,
Looking to try my hand at brewing my own booze. Just think it would be a giggle and a bit of fun. But dont know where to start. Last time I remembered, Boots used to carry the stuff, but that was YEARS ago. There are a few places online that stock stuff, but ideas welcome for the complete novice.
Anyone else do the same and point me in the right direction?

I saw kits in a Tesco Extra (or whatever they call the megastores) the other day.
Loads of web sites about. Don't stint on the sterilisation initially (use the right chemicals)
Often can pick up starter equipment from car boot sales.
Haven't tried it for years but some kits can be worth it - in my experience the bitters and lighter lagers.
