St. Galler Kalbsbratwurst
Discussion
It's very hard to come by Swiss products here in the UK, I'm assuming you mean St. Gallen Kalbsbratwurst? I occasionally find good quality German bratwurst at a local delicatessen, but veal generally is something that really is a speciality, especially if, like me, you prefer the Swiss method of raising veal.
Hi there, I used to live in Zurich and when we came back to London I really craved these and looked everywhere for them. Eventually I found them on a website: www.donaldrussell.com
Do a search for "Swiss" and it brings up all sorts of things, including Swiss Veal Sausage, which are the absolute real mccoy St Gallen kalbsbratwurst. You may also be interested to know that Waitrose sells something called Swiss Style Rosti in a long-life foil packet, just like the ones you get in Migros (they do other small ones with the ready meals too but they're not the same thing at all). All you need now is some hot senf and you're away!
