2005 Reserva, brick coloured label on the back - you'll find it at the end of aisles in the bargain bit.

Very good, worth buying a couple of cases.

No, I've no idea what the label is but will post it up later tongue out

Had a similar stock clearance at my local Somerfield when the Co-op took over. Rioja normally £9.99 was marked up at £2.99!! I cleared the shelves, then went back the next day and bought everything left in the stock room.

Yep - Coop often have Muriel Reserva at silly prices. The local chavs don't know what it is so it tends to make it more accessible to the more descerning clients!

A very good buy this. I got one bottle to try but shall certainly be going back for more.

It's a still a bit tannic, imho, and would benefit from a few years more bottle ageing. Meanwhile it would go well with a fatty roast.

I too picked up a couple of bottles from The 'co this evening.

Quite agreeable for some cheap plonk.
