Am I the only one who hates flavoured coffees?

The ones I have tried are far too sweet and sickly
However...
When I went to my coffee shop on Saturday, he had a jar of Roasted Fig sat there looking at me, so I have been drinking Fig coffee since, it's lovely biggrin

I'm a fan of Wawa coffee. We always bring a few packs back from the States. Some are sweet yes, but this is easily offset by knocking off the sugar you usually have. The vanilla and hazelnut are both very good.

I've also found a little place in Lyndhurst in the New Forest that does flavoured coffee. As above.

Neither are something I could drink on a daily basis, but nice as a treat.

I can't stand coffee with sugar, probably why I hate them so much

It sounds like you're talking about syrup flavoured? Or are you talking flavoured beans? Syrups - very sweet and I find only good for iced coffee in Summer.

Coffee has a perfectly good flavour all of its own - why anyone would want to try to make it taste like anything else is beyond me!

I drink my coffee withouth sugar.
However, I have to admit I do enjoy a gigantic Vanilla Latte when hung over. Which is often, seemingly.

Maybe a shot of Irish whiskey as an eye-opener for a difficult morning.

Exactly. Coffee shops should sell coffee, possibly with a splash of milk for the ladies if required. I do find it annoying when I pop in to find I'm in a queue with people ordering some kind of frappa-mocha-latte-crap and delaying the whole process.

I don't do sugar in my coffee either, so they are always sweeter than my usual cuppa, but nothing that is unpleasant.

If you don't like the sickly sweet flavoured coffees, try Boaters Meadowhall. Unsweetened, flavoured 'real' coffee available in whole beans/coarse grind/espresso etc., as well as instant We like the Irish cream as an occasional treat.

They appeal on the menu but once ordered and sipped; regretted!
