As the title really.
Looking to spend no more than £30 and will be cooking on ceramic hob mainly for stir frys.
TIA
I've got a flat bottomed Tefal one that works fine on a ceramic hob. Got it from John Lewis for about £20 on secial offer. It's about 35cm across at the top and plenty big enough for a stir-fry for two.Looking to spend no more than £30 and will be cooking on ceramic hob mainly for stir frys.

Don't buy a Ken Hom one. The non-stick is awful.
I bought a Meyer one, which is great.

Although 26cm is a smallish wok.

Get yourself down to your nearest oriental food supplier and buy one.
A few quid; maybe £15.
Season it well and stick with it. Don't use detergents when cleaning - just hot water and a stiff brush.

I have an Ikea Pyra wok. It cost about £3, and it's actually very good! 35cm, two handles, non stick as well.

And if you can't be bothered traipsing around Ikea, you can get one on eBay for £6 delivered...

Even if it is rubbish you could buy 10 and just use a new one each week.

Spend sensible money on one and keep it.
I've only recently learned about what the Chinese describe as 'wok breath' - ie. the flavour that the wok itself imparts to the finished dish - hence the importance of the right materials, seasoning and age.
