We've decided to go to the beach as it's a nice day, we've also decided to take a picnic. I'll do it while you have a shower, says SWMBO.
Down i come, happy, refreshed and a little excited (i like picnice!). Think to myself, i wonder what i've got? I open the tub to reveal my neatly packed sanga, i calmly lift the top slice of bread only to reel back in utter horror and dimay.....She has not buttered to the edges!!!!! yikes
Naturally i promtly empty the offending sanga and re-butter it as only a man knows how. My sanga is now complete and will be wholeheartedly enjoyed.
SWMBO is none the wiser (i 'aint that brave!!).

Well, I don't eat butter, but my OH appears to use at least 1 tub per slice and it is over the edges.. Perhaps it's just your OH?

Could be a spreading and viscosity issue.

If she did yours first it could be because the butter was still cold from the fridge. It may be adviseable to keep the butter in the larder or get the driver to warm it on the bonnet of the Rolls for a few minutes before spreading.

Always check your butter viscosity- treacherous mistakes occur otherwise, like you have beheld today.

If your life revolved around making sandwiches, wouldn't you get a bit sloppy?

She needs to be re-educated, via the medium of some harsh words.

Don1 does not endorse the above sentiments or actions, and holds no responsbility for you following said 'advice'.

Allot of women have no spacial awareness, so she may think she's as far as she can go but in reality she's miles away.

Round windows syndrome. It's like Mrs BG when she cleans the screen on the telly, one circular sweep somewhere in the middle of the screen, leaving a dust trail looking like tracks from a beach buggy in the dunes, and that's it. When I'm cleaning around the house, it's more like OCD car detailing smile

Probably a visiual cortext thing. Blokes on the other hand need to constantly reassure themsevles with visual cues that everything is OK. Take for example the infamous line 'is it in yet?'. Though you know it to be the case, though your other senses indicate it is most definately the case, you have to sneek a peek... just to make sure.

I couldn't put sandwich without some crap pun about me going to the beach!
Round windows and spacial awarenes seem to be probable, and some form of re-education is definately in order!! In the meantime i'll let her get on with peeling the spuds and only hope that she doesn't just do the middle bit!
BTW, beach and picnic were both lovely smile

If you do this it is vital, that is VITAL, that you use unsalted butter.
