I can't believe I have only just found this programme! I have been watching it a fair bit recently and some of the food looks absolutely divine (although some does look pretty grim, like the peanut butter and bacon donut). Is there anywhere here in the UK that does this kind of this food? For instance, humungous burgers laden with cheese and yumminess and more cheese and bacon and just loads of heart attack toppings?

I would love to go to one of those chilli places he visited and do a chilli challenge. It is the only thing that makes me want to go to the USA ! My mission in the next month or so is to create a burger worthy of Man vs Food and I have bought the "plastic" cheese in readiness.

Great show, but always makes me feel hungry! My job takes me to Houston from time to time, and I always try and visit a good BBQ joint or steakhouse when I'm there. The US is like another planet when it comes to food... I can't think of anywhere in the UK that would even come close to the places shown on Man vs Food.

Me too!! I end up drooling whilst watching it if I haven't eaten beforehand. I really must go to the US. Perhaps starve myself for a month beforehand and then go and eat and eat. The presenter, Adam is a really likable guy and he makes me laugh a lot.

some of the bbq stuff is quite simply a cuisine not available over here. bodeans and a few others have a crack, but nowhere near. only way to get close is to do a 'papoo'

the seafood places which dump a shovel of mixed steamed seafood in the middle of the table look great too. that would be £100 here!

One of my favourites, makes me so hungry but only for a small portion of whatever he's having.

Some of the chilli challenges are rather OTT.

Its on the Food Channel. On Sunday, there was episode after episode...after episode. He has done a new Series 3, I believe, just finishing it now, so he says on Twitter.

I've been to the USA, and they put cheese on EVERYTHING, including my 22oz (yup, 22) sirloin.

Novelty wore off after the seventh day, and by the tenth I kid you not I was gagging for a salad but the closest I got it was some lettuce in a burger...
