Resteraunt reccomendation near stratord area?

Hi Foodies,
It's my anniversery this weekend, and I'm taking ht emissus down to a thatched cottage about 15 mins south of Stratford. She's a massive food fan (as in she's keen on top notch grub, rather than she's massive, and likes cakes).
Can anyone reccomend a reseraunt that will suit the sort of person that likes arty food? Ideally, it'd be taxiable, but I can drive if needed. I have tried the michelin starred one (lords of the manor), but they're full.
