Dinner party games?
Discussion
Best (drunken) dinner party game I have played is "the colander game"
Everyone writes the names of a couple of famous people on bits of paper, which get folded and thrown into a colander (hence the name)
Split into two teams.
One person from the first team has 30 seconds to get their team to guess as many as possible using as many words as they want (no sounds like etc. or telling the names obviously)- correct answers get removed from the colander and passes go back in. Then the second team gets a go, same idea, one person gets the others to guess - keep going, with a different person describing each time
Once the colander is empty, all the names get folded and go back in.
Round two is the same idea, except the person doing the describing is only allowed to use two words for each name.
Round three the person describing can only use actions.
A few drinks and it gets pretty rowdy - last time I played, Captain Birdseye was one of the name - the action used was a scratch and sniff of the genitals for "fish fingers" you get the idea - it encourages creativity

Everyone has a piece of paper with the name of a celebrity on their forehead (that they can't see but eveyone else can). You go round the table, and each person can ask just one question about who they are (must be a yes or no answer). If they can't guess who it is, then they have to wait for their next turn to come. First to guess whose name is on their forehead is the winner.
Not quite the end of thread... this game always makes for a good laugh!
