BRICK LANE CURRY - PRIVATE ROOM
Discussion
I much prefer Lahore Kebab house over Tayyabs but I'm not sure if they have a private room. Worth checking though as the food is top notch.

+1 always a good evening in therewww.lahore-kebabhouse.com
IMO the best curry house in the area is the snappily named Halal Restaurant on the corner of Ailie Street and St Marks Street (Aldgate). Knocks the Lahores (still 3 of them?) into a cocked hat.
Not the prettiest, but by far the best curry (especially the 'melt in the mouth' mutton curry) I have ever had. Anywhere. Been a patron since the 80s and my father before me since the 50s. They have a room on the ground floor that will accomodate and a private function room upstairs that will also. Gets busy at lunchtime.
I arrange my business appointments in London around being able to dine there when in town. *Meeting a couple of PHers there next Friday to educate them
ETA: * Soovy, meeting M3John/Blue Thunder on Friday lunchtime, come join us and try it out? If you don't like it I will pay for yours
