Charcouterie in London
Discussion
The "best steak in London" thread reminded me of an excellent charcouterie experience I had recently and one to recommend in London if you are in to that sort of thing.
A few weeks ago a client took me out. I fancied tapas so he took me to Brindisa in Borough Market. It was amazing. The acorn-fed Iberico ham is possibly the most fantastic thing I have ever tasted in my life. You'd swear it has been coated in nutty oil or something, but the thin slivers of meat are dry yet so nutty you can almost taste the acorns.
OK I'm never going to be a food writer but seriously - if you are in London and like cured meats, go and try the Iberico Ham it is stunning. The best bit is - as well as a restaurant they have a shop!
