Our Gaggia coffee machine broke again last year and we finally gave up on it.

We are now in a position to get another one, but because of what I do as a job I have access to an iPod/Phone/Pad app that will control anything with an IR or RS232 control.

So if I can find a coffee machine with either of these, then it would be a really cool, show-off, app. (and I could buy it on the company as a development tool!)

Anyone in PH know of one with these options.

Lots of lovely gadgets here:
www.appliancist.com/coffee_makers/

www.appliancist.com/espresso_machines/

If you can't find it there then it's off to Dragon's Den with you!

He doesn't like coffee.

He's also looking for a video recorder so he can record programmes he doesn't like and play them while he's out.

Wake up, get out of bed, shower.
Hit button on iPhone to start coffee machine.
Dry and get dressed.
Pick up cup of warm coffee and drink in one gulp before leavign for work.

Sounds like it has potential.

Some twenty years ago when I still lived with my parents, my routine was to shower before bed. My mum would shout at me at 7.05, I'd spend two minutes getting dressed, throw some cereal and milk in a bowl and wolf it down inside a minute. Swallow a mug of coffee that mum had made seven minutes before shouting at me and off I would go to work.

I need not some fancy app and even more fancy coffee machine, rather a slave or two. biggrin

Because I can.

I need a coffee machine, so why not look for something I can show off with and promote what I do as a company and business.

And why not, I know it is a bit extreme, but a good show of what can be done.

You'll need to remember to put a cup underneath it :-)
