Bought myself a bread maker a few weeks back and it's been a great success smile

Done some of the usual suspects - sundried tomato loaf, raisin and cinnamon, oat bread, plain old white, granary and wholemeal, all worked beautifully.

Had one poor result, a walnut loaf that didn't rise - I may have overdone they qty of nuts.

Anyway, looking for inspiration for other recipes, got any good ones?

30/70 mix of rye flour to strong white and substitute your favourite lager for the water.

It doesn't rise as much as a normal loaf but the flavour is superb with a selection of charcuterie.

Just bought the Panasonic one too. First loaf was an Almond & Apricot one - lovely. Garlic & Rosemary followed that. Walnut & Blue Cheese is next up. I've also got a recipe lying around somewhere for a Christmas loaf with spices, dried fruit and cranberries. Can't wait.

How about a sweet banana and caramel one?
