Brindisa at Borough Market is the choice. http://www.brindisa.com/restaurants/
The Iberico ham is the most stunning thing I have ever eaten.

Went to Old Spitalfields Market today, and there was a great one there called Meson Los Barriles. Good food, huge portions, and pretty cheap for it's location.
+1 for Meson Los Bariles; they also have a more traditional branch on Goswell Road, which I prefer.Meson Don Felipe on The Cut is also fabulous but I don't think you can book, so tough to rely on.

For those who've not tried both, Brindisa is harder to get a table (impossible at peak times), portions are smaller, and prices slightly higher. IMO quality was very comparable. If you get there by midday on a weekday you will get a table. Leave it later and you will struggle. The great thing about it IMO is not just the food but the wine list. Plus if you eat anything that you really enjoy, you can pop round to the shop on the market and get buy it to take home.

You simply have to try the Valdispino at Brindisa - pure sherry perfection! You can also buy the food in the shop next door (my personal favourite is the pan fried padron peppers).Guys - nothing better than this. I have taken a couple of Spanish associates here on 2 separate occasions and they have been seriously impressed.
