Topside cooking time.
Discussion
I am planning on doing a topside joint in the slow cooker for Christmas.
Nothing fancy just a standard roast with veg, yorkies, roasters etc.
The joint is 2.9kg, quite large I know but I like leftovers!
I was thinking about 10-12 hours in the slow cooker would be fine but would I be better leaving it in longer?
I know topside can be pretty tough so I want to make sure its tender.
